John Fiorillo, a distinguished Marine who bravely served in the Korean War, passed away at the age of ninety-one on Thursday, April 25, 2024.
He was born in Brooklyn on June 4, 1932, where he lived with his mother, Anna, Grandmother Rose, Aunt Agnes, and Cousin Richard. John met his wife, Marie, after he returned from Korea. They were very happily married for over sixty-seven years. He was a proud, thirty-eight-year employee of the New York Port Authority at JFK airport, where he was Shop Forman responsible for maintaining emergency vehicles.
He is survived by his wife, Marie; his children, Joan Fiorillo, John Robinson-Fiorillo, Barbara Fiorillo, and Catherine Fiorillo Weber; his son-in-law, Eric Weber and daughter-in-law, Felica Robinson-Fiorillo; and his grandchildren, Gregory and Arielle Weber, Brian and Elena Weber, Eric Weber, Octavia Robinson-Fiorillo, and Natalya Robinson-Fiorillo. John brought immense joy and happiness to his family, and his absence will be deeply felt.
