Carol Ann Sartorius

Carol Ann Sartorius of Elmont, NY entered eternal life on December 25, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Sartorius. Daughter of the late Julius and Anna Hettel. Mother of Annalisa Johnston and Susanne Sartorius-Grunwald. Mother-in-law of Pat Johnston and Michael Grunwald. Devoted grandmother of Hannah and Kyle Johnston, Katarina and Ella Grunwald. Former owner of Sartorius Cleaners in Manhattan. Former member of the Catholic Kolping Society of New York. She is a beloved sister-in-law, cousin, and aunt to many. We will miss her tenacious personality and big heart. 

Annalisa Johnston and Susanne Sartorius-Grunwald have asked in lieu of flowers that gifts be made to the Kolpin Memorial Scholarship Fund. The Sartorius Memorial Fund was set up to recognize the great contribution of Joe during his lifetime. Each year, scholarships are awarded to children or grandchildren of Kolping members as well as Nativity School in New York.
