Beloved wife of 24 years to Doug and a fiercely loyal mother to her two boys, Brett and Steven, who she treasured and loved above all else. Cherished daughter of Chris and Sophie and step-daughter to Karin, Christine was born in Brooklyn in 1968. Along with her parents and two older sisters, Liz and Anne, Christine moved to Malverne the following year where she was raised and spent the remainder of her fulfilling life. Christine was also loved by her stepsisters, her brothers and sisters-in-laws, father-in-law and nieces and nephews.
Her time with us was short, but measured in the love she held for her family and friends and their love for her, it was gracious and inspired. Christine’s ability to maintain friendships kept loved ones together and was a source of strength for her family. Her greatest attribute was her ability to keep her positive disposition in the face of misfortune and her faithful appreciation for the small blessings interwoven in our daily lives. She enjoyed the optimism of motivational speakers, but did not realize she was the true inspiration to all of us.
Christine’s dedication to her faith was only surpassed by her dedication to her husband and two incredible children who she served and supported through her final days. An avid Yankee fan, Christine was most content watching Brett and Steven’s baseball games cheering alongside Doug.
She will be truly missed by her friends and family, but never forgotten.
