O’Connor- Dorothy, of Lynbrook on August 24, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Loving mother of

Kevin (Leta) and Ellen (George) Johnson. Cherished grandmother of Elizabeth Ann (nee Johnson) and

John Shibles, Matthew Johnson, Thomas and Kerry (nee Murphy) Johnson, Colleen O’Connor, and Liam

O’Connor. Great-grandmother of Ryan, Colin, Brendan, and Claire Shibles. Godmother to Vincent

Fitzgerald and Mary Ann Aber. Resident of Lynbrook since September 1956. Celebrated 100th birthday in

February 2018. Prior active member in Our Lady of Peace School Mothers’ Group and Catholic

Daughters Of America 673 Ct St. Raymond. Mom was wonderful; everyone who knew her will live

forever in gratitude for all that she taught us about faith, family, and friendship. Family will receive

friends Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Flinch & Bruns Funeral Home, Inc. 34 Hempstead Ave

(corner Peninsula Blvd) Lynbrook. Funeral Mass Wednesday 9:45 AM at Our Lady of Peace RC Church,

Lynbrook. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn Ave, Brooklyn. In lieu of flowers, memorial

contributions may be made to the Our Lady of Peace Parish Social Ministry.
