Glenn E. Nielsen – born on September 25, 1950 in Queens, NY. Glenn most recently resided in Island Park, spent many years in Lynbrook, NY and is originally from West Hempstead.

Glenn was a dedicated special education teacher for 25 years as well as a swimming and tennis coach.

Son of the late Jean and George Nielsen and a devoted father to his son Gregg George Nielsen.

Glenn is survived by his brothers Scott and Gary and his sister Karen and sister in-law Denise. He is also survived by his former spouse and friend Anne and his nieces and nephews Nicole, Brett, Carrie, Zachary, Jack and Dan.
