Trudy Sortino

Trudy passed away on November 21, 2019 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of 61 years to Joseph. Loving mother of Gary and his wife Maria, Laurie Rizzo and her husband Michael. Dear grandmother of Steven Rizzo, Alec Rizzo, and Gina Sortino. She loved being with family and friends. She enjoyed golf,tennis,playing bridge,cruises and trips to our National Parks. But most of all she loved to be with her family. Trudy was a graduate of Cortland College and taught for 35 years in both Valley Stream and New York City Schools. She was adored by all who knew her and she had a bright smile for everyone. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Trudy's name to the Community Presbyterian Church of Malverne (cpcmalverne.org)
