Obituary

Anna Surico, devoted sister to  Angelina (deceased). Beloved aunt of Maria Cappas and Joseph Sciascia(deceased). Loving great-aunt of Christopher and Brianna.

Age 93

Born and raised in Brooklyn

Received a 2 yr degree from St John’s University.

Worked as a bookkeeper at Family Circle Magazine Hobbies included sewing, bowling and reading. Enjoyed volunteering at at a Thrift Shop on the weekends Interests were going to the beach, traveling, seeing Broadway shows and dining in NYC.

Moved to Lynbrook in 2011 to live with her niece and family. 

Devoted Catholic, when couldn’t attend Mass, she would watch the Sunday Mass on tv and receive Communion weekly from a Eucharistic minister at our home .

Aunt Anna was sweet, kindhearted  and loved by all who had the pleasure of meeting her. She will be greatly missed by her family. We will treasure the beautiful lasting memory we have of Aunt Anna.
