Antoinette Diaz

On Tuesday, December 8, 2020, Antoinette Diaz, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away at the age of 82.

Antoinette or "Nettie" as she was called, was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1938. In 1954, she married the love of her life, Stephen Diaz and they spent the next 65+ years devoted to one another. Together they raised two sons and two daughters.

Nettie relished the role of grandmother and later, great-grandmother. A kid at heart with a wonderful imagination, she loved to spend time with them, read and play games.  She enjoyed cooking, baking and entertaining. The home she made was a gathering place and nothing gave her greater joy than to be surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Thomas Anthony, and a daughter, Carol Ann Jewels. She is survived by her husband Stephen, son Stephen and his wife Susan, son Anthony and his wife Denise, daughter Lisa Ryan and her husband James, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and a nephew.
