Antonina Babiak Obituary

Antonina Filoteo Babiak of Oceanside, NY, peacefully passed away on March 15th, 2024 at the age of 67. Beloved mother of Michael (JoAnn), Brian (Gina), and Anthony (Jenna). Cherished grandmother of Alexa, Justin, Madison, Giuliana, and Viviana. 

 Nina, born on August 16th, 1956, in Brooklyn, NY, was the fifth of seven children to the late Gennaro and Luisa Filoteo. She is survived by her siblings Mary, Virginia, Susan, Joseph, Luisa, and Salvatore. Nina was married to Michael Babiak. Nina was an exceptionally dedicated and loving mother who raised three admirable men, and was devoted to their spouses. She cherished her role as a doting Nani to her five grandchildren. 

Nina was an integral part of her family of six siblings and their spouses, and she was a loving and much-loved aunt to her numerous nieces and nephews. Known for her unwavering faithfulness, Nina was loved by all her friends. 

She will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
