Diane Miranda

On Friday, April 8th, 2022, Ernestine "Diane" Miranda, loving mother, loving grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, passed away at the age of 87. 

 Diane was born November 19, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY to Carlo and Grace (Mistretta) LaBruna. She was predeceased in death by her older brother Charles (Carmine). She met and married the love of her life, Salvatore Miranda. He predeceased her in 2006. They had been married for 55 years.  

She is survived by her daughter Lois (Nick), their three children, Angela (John), Nicholas (Cheyra) and Valerie (Brian), great-grand-children Gio, John, Carla, Thomas and Sonia, and her son Salvatore (Amy), their three children Stephanie (Henry), Salvatore and Joseph and great-grandchildren Henry and Luca. 

 Her zeal for life was second only to her love for her family. To know her was to love her. She will be greatly missed.

The Miranda family requests that all individuals attending the funeral mass for Diane go directly to St Aidan Church on Wednesday. The family WILL NOT be at the funeral home that morning.
