Please Memo: In Memory of James Deliver, Lynbrook FD
James “’Jimmy Deliver, passed away on September 18, 2020. He was Pre-deceased by both his parents Al and Carole Deliver. Survived by his Brother Michael wife Erin, niece Kaitlyn and nephew Ryan from Mastic Beach. He is also Survived by his sister Lisa Graff, husband John from Lynbrook. Jimmy Spent his working life as a truck driver, but his love was the Lynbrook Fire Dept. Jimmy, or “Gel” as he was known as, was a 29 year life member of Tally-ho Chemical Engine # 3. He joined the Fire Dept in October, 1991 and worked his way up in the ranks. He became a company chauffeur and worked with many company and department committees. In April 2000, Jimmy was elected 2nd Lt, then 1st Lt April 2002. In April 2004 he was elected Captain of Tally-Ho. Eventually Jimmy was elected as company warden and council member in 2010. He was always an active member of the fire house. He could always be counted on for manpower and any and everything else. Jimmy loved his Tally-Ho family and he will be deeply missed by all that knew him. Tally-Ho will shine on.
