JoAnne Scimone

JoAnne Scimone, beloved mother and unparalleled best friend, left the world suddenly on April 21, 2024 at the age of 76.

JoAnne's life was centered around giving love and support to her son Christopher and to those she loved.  She took great pride in keeping her life and home in order.  Everything she did was always with a touch of love and compassion.  JoAnne was a lively storyteller who loved to reminisce and paint beautiful pictures with her words about experiences that touched her life over the years.  She touched my life in so many ways with her devotion to making every day special and always made the best birthday cakes.  Her generosity, love, and warmth will be remembered forever.  We'll meet again in Heaven my lovely mother.

A funeral service is scheduled for April 26, 2024 at 9:45 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church on Wright Avenue in Malverne.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Links below.
