PLEASE NOTE: ALL VISITORS AND MASS ATTENDEES MUST WEAR MASKS AND PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING. TOTAL NUMBER OF ATTENDEES WILL BE REGULATED DURING VISITATION

On the evening of Friday Oct 23, Joan DeMartino passed away at the age of 83.   Joan was a lifelong resident of Lynbrook, graduate of Lynbrook High School and dedicated parishioner of Our Lady of Peace.  Joan was born on Feb 4, 1937 to the late Anthony and Helen Galgano. Joan is preceded in death by her brother James (aka Buddy). She is survived by brothers Michael (Dolores)  and Anthony  (Rena).    In June of 1959 she married the late Joseph V. DeMartino, a Lynbrook Postman. A devoted wife and mother, they stayed married for 57 years and raised 3 children, Joseph, Michael and Diane. Her greatest joy was being a grandmother to her grandchildren Michael V, and Thomas.   She was a very important part of their lives, always there with support, encouragement, prayers and love.  We will hold her in our hearts forever.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
