John Gerard Boland

John Gerard Boland passed away peacefully on May 30, 2021.

Beloved son of Thomas and Helen Boland, loving brother of Michael (Adrian), Thomas, and Kathleen (Anthony) Carucci; cherished uncle of Bridgid (CJ), Patricia (Chris), Michael, Timothy, Kristina (Albert), Ryan, and TJ, great-uncle of Caroline, Vincent, and Lucas.

Born in Queens Village on June 2, 1965, John was a bright light, bringing love and laughter everywhere he went.

John had many friends and was beloved by all.  He had a special fondness for his good friend Dolores Wrynn, also born in Queens Village on June 2nd, 1965.

John was a champion swimmer with the Special Olympics, having brought home the gold on several occasions from events all throughout New York State.

He spent over forty summers at the Marist Brothers Camp at Esopus, NY.

He was an avid bowler, Mets, Rangers, and Giants fan.

He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.
