Everyone that knew John knew what a special man he was. He was everyone’s friend. He was poppy to his 3 children, nonno to his 5 grandchildren and Big Johnny or Mr. Z. to everyone else. He was always there to cook for you and fix anything that needing fixing. John loved his family unconditionally.
He lived 89 years, other then polio he was never sick a day in his life until he got prostate cancer 3 years ago. John was a fighter, he wanted to do whatever he had to to beat the cancer, but in the end it beat him. John’s good heart and kindness will be remembered by all who knew him.
