Laura Solow

It is with great sadness that the family of Laura Solow announces her passing on Friday, August 24 at the age of 62.  Laura will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 38 years, Mike, and their children, Jason (Jennifer), Jennifer (and fiancé John) and Adam (Diana).   Laura (Gee) will also be fondly remembered by her two cherished grandchildren, Juliana (Juju) and Andrew, and by her brothers, Shim (Mary), Stan (Amy), Alan (Jan), her sister Tina (Ken), sister-in-law Bonnie (Rich) and Mother-in-law Lorraine. She will also be remembered by her many wonderful nieces and nephews, Lauren, Ashley, Amanda, Brian, Kevin, Melissa, Christine, Alex and Ryan.

She was loved and will be missed by all of her dear friends and anyone who ever met her and got to know her.

Besides working for over 32 years in the computer software industry, Laura was known by her family and friends as a great cook, seamstress, contractor, house painter, gardener and designated driver. She was a proud grandmother, wonderful mom, dedicated wife and loyal friend to all.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 – 9:00 at the Flinch & Bruns Funeral Home at 34 Hempstead Avenue, Lynbrook  NY.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, August 28 at 10:30 am at Flinch & Bruns as well.
