Milius Jean, lovingly known as Colo, was born on August 26, 1960 in Cap-Haitian. He was born the 5th child to his late parents “Anilia Pyronneau Jean” who passed on February 21st, 2014 and Emile Jean who passed on September 25th, 2010. He is survived by his 5 children Cassandra Jean, Romney Jean, Jayden Jean, Chandler Jean, and lastly Colette Jean. He also leaves behind his wife at the time of his death, Dr. Catrina Leblanc who took his last name when they got married around 2019. Milius was married previously for 24 years ending in 2018. His direct lineage also consisted of his siblings:
Daniel Jean, Moise Jean, Kettie Jean. Upon his passing, Milius has reunited with his late siblings Melorice “Nono” Jean and “Colbert Jean”. Colo additionally has numerous nieces, nephews and cousins that treasure him dearly.
Milius passed 61 years after being given life and gracefully enjoyed working every day for his family’s benefit. He was a giving uncle, cousin and friend and was always helping those around him with anything whether it be utilizing his B.A in Accounting skills, his
Business Admission degree or even just a laugh. From strolls through the park to impromptu soccer games, Colo loved the outdoors. As long as the summer sun was out, the location did not matter. He enjoyed his home garden made of mint, green beans, tomato and more. My dad believed nothing was more important than Jesus, family, education and health. He inspired those around to consider the same beliefs constantly preaching their advantages. My father spent his last walks of life actively caring for his children and family with dignity and now Milius “Colo” Jean has gone to be with his own caretakers and has been warmly welcomed home from his most beloved heavenly father.
