Miriam Alvarez was born on February 8, 1961 in Brooklyn, NY. She loved having family game nights, visiting Disneyworld, and terribly singing the “12 days of Christmas” with her family on Christmas eve. She was an avid traveler and was looking forward to many more adventures with her husband Louis after retirement. She bravely fought cancer for the last year and a half, and passed peacefully surrounded by her family. She accomplished so much in her lifetime. Her proudest achievements were being the first in her family to graduate college, excelling in her career, marrying her high school sweetheart, raising her two children Melisa and Alex, and newly becoming a grandmother to Oliver. She was so loved and will be greatly missed.
