Sadie Belle Carlson

Sadie Belle Carlson, formerly of Garden City South, NY, passed away peacefully at the age of 98, on April 5, 2022.  She was born in Brooklyn, to Willard Lee and Sophie Hollis.  She met David Carlson at the age of 16, at a party, and married the love of her life in 1945 and had three children, James, Robert and Lois. She dearly loved her 2 blue eyed Grandsons, David and his wife Shannon and Fred and his wife Regina and 5 Great Grandchildren, Connor, Kyra, Andrew, Gavin and Colin. In addition, she leaves behind a sister, Jane Hollis, daughter in law, Judy,  nieces  and nephews and  dear family friends Ted Simonson and Lee Greene.

Sadie Belle always had a smile on her face.  She was a Charter Member of the East Williston Baptist Church and a Member of New Hyde Park Baptist Church.  Over the years, she was involved with New Age, Home Makers,  Mineola Golden Age Club, Ceramics, and MicroWave cooking.  She loved to travel.
