Stephanie Margaret Rizzo

Born on September 28 1944 in Brooklyn to parents Stephen Maltese and Margaret(Dominica) DeRosa, Stephanie was sister to Stephen Jr. and Margaret(Peggy)Santoro. She was a loving mother to James, William, and Philip, as well as a devoted wife to husband Franklin for over 30 years. She was also the loving Aunt to Lisa and Lori Santoro, and Grandmother to Alex, Frank, Sarah, and George. She passed away peacefully with her sons William and James by her side at Mount Holly Virtua Memorial Hospital in New Jersey on July 24.

She had a career as an accountant in Wall Street and the Garment District in Manhattan, and later worked for King Kullen supermarkets in Rockville Centre. She loved to cook, and made many delicious meals over the years for countless family and friends at her home in Lawrence. She will be remembered by her caring and generosity that was extended to all those she knew. 

The family would like to thank the staff at Brandywine Assisted Living in Moorestown NJ for their compassionate care of Stephanie during the last several months. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the American Heart Association.
