Thomas Michael Del Guidice

Thomas Michael Del Guidice, of Valley Stream, died on Monday August 23, 2021 at Mt. Sinai hospital with his fiancée Erin by his side and surrounded (virtually) by his family. 

Thomas was born January 28, 1986 in Mineola NY and was raised in Valley Stream.  He was a carpenter by trade and taught himself woodcrafting & carving as well as mechanics. He was a quick study and he enjoyed working with his hands, especially when he worked in the wood flooring trade with his brother Johnny and cousin Jason.  He had a love of animals, especially dogs, and was a natural at training them, seeing himself as the ‘alpha.’  He liked fishing and absolutely loved crabbing for blue claw crab at Bay Park.  Tom enjoyed nature, music, Bob Ross, and Marvel. He was endlessly learning and his interests were big and broad, much like his personality.

He recently became engaged to Erin, the “most amazing woman” he knew, and was looking forward to spending his life with her.

Thomas leaves behind his beloved fiancée Erin Neeson.  He is survived by his daughter Isabella Murphy, his parents, Michael and Christine Del Guidice, brother Johnny Del Guidice, sisters Jenn Easler (Bryan), Chrissy Crew (Scott) and JoEllen Darcey (Mike), three nephews, a niece, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was predeceased by his favorite furry friend Bronson. 

The family will receive friends from 12 pm to 1 pm Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Flinch and Bruns Funeral Home, with a service to remember and celebrate his life at 1 pm.
