William Cesark Obituary

William J. Cesark entered into eternal rest on January 29, 2024. He was born in Williamsburg, Brooklyn on September 2, 1934. Upon graduation of High School in 1953, he served in the United States Navy.  In 1957, he was appointed to The FDNY where he rose to the rank of Battalion Chief.  He retired in 1996 after 39 years of serving and protecting the City of New York. He is survived by his devoted wife, Ann, of sixty-five years of marriage, his two children and 5 grandchildren. William is predeceased by his parents, Alois and Elizabeth, and his Brother, Robert. He was truly blessed with family that became friends and friends that became family throughout his entire life.  All his nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends will miss him greatly but will be comforted knowing he is at peace resting with the Lord.In lieu of flowers, the family of William J.
